Not sure how to decide between creating a new dataflow or using linked entity option

I have a situation where we created a new workspace. The source input for the reports in this workspace are already there in another workspace. One option is that we can use linked entity option to connect to dataflow from another workspace but we can't modify it only for new workspace. Another option is to duplicate the dataflow and create a new dataflow in the new workspace.

Which is the best option? What are the pros and cons of these options?
