Not having the right result - DAX variable

Hello,

 

I have a table with each line showing item id , location id, quantity on hand.

My table has multiple locations but I'm interested in checking if 2 specific locations have or not have an item in stock. If location 1 doesn't have the item and location 2 has I want to flag it as "replenish". When I use the formula below as a calculated column it's classifying everything as "Has Stock".

 

I'm not sure if the problem is in my dax or somewhere else...can someone please check if the dax below makes sense?

VAR Location1 =
CALCULATE( sum('Qty'[On Hand]),filter('Qty','Qty'[LOCATION_ID]=245))
VAR Location2 =
CALCULATE( sum('Qty'[On Hand]), FILTER('Qty','Qty'[LOCATION_ID]=261))

RETURN
SWITCH(
TRUE(),
Location1<=0 && Location2 <= 0 , "Out of Stock",
Location1<=0 && Location2 > 0, "Replenish",
"Has Stock"
)

    VAR Location2 =
    CALCULATE( sum('Qty'[On Hand]), FILTER('Qty','Qty'[LOCATION_ID]=261))+0

    RETURN
    SWITCH(
    TRUE(),
    Location1<=0 && Location2 <= 0 , "Out of Stock",
    Location1<=0 && Location2 > 0, "Replenish",
    "Has Stock"
    )

     

    +0 should handle the blank

    Anonymous - Overall seems OK, but sample data and expected result would be very good to have. Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

    The most important parts are:
    1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
    2. Expected output from sample data
    3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Have you checked whether "Location1" and "Location2" return the correct results?

     

    In addition, it would be better to provide some sample data for testing.
