Not enough memory to create relationship
Hi all
I am trying to do a relationship (one to many) for a date field.
One table (date) contains the days of the year since 2017 (1194 rows) , and the other table (called query1) contains 830,000 rows with a column date.
I got this message:
How can i fix this?
thanks.
hi parry2k
It just worked, I did first the relationship from date to query1 first, and then from date to formula.
Thanks for the help 😄

I'm with parry2k that seems odd. How much memory do you have? You could try to turn off the automatic date hierarchy in File | Options and settings | Options. I have seen that blow up some data models because every date is unique.

Hi Greg_Deckler
The file size is 62 MB, I have the PBI pro version. In the end worked, by just doing the bridge from date to query (the heaviest table), instead of table to formula.
Thanks!

o59393 very odd that sequence of relationship worked. I have never see this and I'm sure Greg_Deckler will agree on this with me. Really odd and infact would like to learn more on this. seems one off corner case.
