Not able to insert column into Matrix value field

I have a report I've build months ago that I'm trying to update, and I noticed that I'm not able to insert a column into a value field.

The column is in number format, and it's working well on the old report.

If I try to delete that column from field value and insert again, it doesn't work.

Also, if I try to create a new table or matrix and insert any number column into the value field, the same error occurs.

I think the problem has something to do with PBI or the file. The workaround I'm using is to copy all queries and visuals into a new file, and then the problem is solved. (Already tried saving as new file, but nothing happens. Also restarting PBI doesn't work).

But since I have measures and columns created into PBI visual screen, it's not a simple task.

Did it happen to someone else? What should I do?

What version of power bi desktop are you working on? Which data source type and connection mode do you use? Please share some more detailed information about these to help us clarify your scenario and test to troubleshoot.

BTW, any preview features are you enabled on your report? They may affect the power bi usages.

For power bi data model and field migrate, you can try to use external tools tabular editor to directly operate on the data model.
