Not able to avoid aggregation

Hi All,

I am designing a Dial Gauge, for which I have a field named Target_End. I am not able to to avoid aggregating when I am dragging it. I have read previous post and followed each and every instruction which says, convet data type and Format to Whole Number, Change Default summarization to Don't summarize. But still when I am dragging the field, I am seeing Count of Target_End instead of Target_End.

Any help please??

Nothing was working for me, so what I did was, I created measures with SUMX or any aggregate function and used that measure in the visualization. I also observed that we can just do (+ 0) as the end of a Measure, so that it will convert into numeric column. Hope it helps someone!

Click the little drop down arrow next to the "Count of ..." and see if you have an option of "Don't Summarize" If not, that usually means that you are dealing with a Text field. However, you may not have the option of not summarizing for a guage visualization. Can you share sample data?
