Hi,
I have a problem with non-data elements in my matrix or table. I want to display the specific value in each row but as there are no values in some rows, it automatically puts the average in each row instead of the specific value and it doesn't give me the option to ‘show elements without data’ in the ‘Matrix’ visual object.
How can I do it for showing the real data in each row, leaving it blank in rows that have no value.
Hi @jcabrera ,
Thanks for MFelix's reply!
And @jcabrera, the information you have provided is so minimal that it is almost impossible to know what your problem is based on that information alone. May I ask you if this is a column in a data table or a measure or calculated column created with DAX?
The reason for this problem is usually a structural problem with your data, could you please provide us with your data so that we can better understand your problem?
Best Regards,
Dino Tao
Well, this doesn't work, it appears like an error if I do what you said as if it did not find the origin of the data as there are empty spaces for some rows
How do you have the visualization setup? Is it possible to send up a sample?

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsI will put some more photos. As you can see, I have all of my data according to a flock. In the first columns I have data for all my flocks son I have no problem. The problem comes in the last column, where I only have data in three or four of my flocks, it is like the Power BI recognise the empty spaces and only put in every row the average data of the four only rows that I have with information because is unable to leave empty spaces in the column.
So I tried to select the option "Show items without data" but it didn't appear. (In the photo it is in spanish, the translate it's "Mostrar elementos sin datos" and it doesnt appear.
An then I tried to do what you said putting "Dont summarize" but as you can see in the previous image, it doesn't appear too in matrix visualitation; but if I select the same data in a table it appears correctly but this happen.
So these are my data:
Thank you very much.
Hi @jcabrera ,
Since the value is part of your matrix, on the flock (Lote) select the "Show values with no data" that should return the values that you need.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsOk, I have done it, but nothing change...
Hi @jcabrera ,
Without any data just by the images is difficult to pin point what can be happening. in the column you higligth you want to have the average values or the values of each of the %?
This is related with the way you want to present you data vs the values that you have, for a single row of that matrix do you have more than one value?

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi @jcabrera ,
If you are selecting the value from a column on your data just select the option Don't summarize that should give you all the results you need.
