Hello All,
Need suggestions! I have developed a report in desktop version. One of the bar graph has a hierarchy and which get properly drilled-down in desktop verion report using the 'next level of hierarchy' button at the top of left hand corner. But when I publish the report and then pin to new dashboard then in the dashborad that button ('next level of hierarchy') is not visible, any idea how I could get the button in dashboard?
Also I noticed that when I double click on top of the live dashboard, the dashboard gets open in report and that time I could see the button, so if this is the functionality then do I need to ask my manager to double click on dashboard (which I am going to share with him) to have that button in dashborad.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

ooh yes, Pin live page only enables you to use filters. There is no drilling/expand possibility in dashboard...
Sorry for the false hope 😞
Hi,
Drilling is not possible when you pin just the visualization to a dashboard. You have to press "pin live page" to keep your visualization interactive.
Dashboards are nice to show performance indicators but not that interesting if you have to dig a bit deeper in the data. In that case it is more interesting to share the report. (Just my opinion)

Twilla
I am referring to this button. sorry for confusion.
Hi @Twilla, thanks for reponse. I have already pinned the report to live dashboard and its the dashboard which is not showing the button. And my bad, I mentioned the drill down button but its 'next level of hierarchy' button which is at top of left hand corner on the tile. The report shows the button but the dashboard won't. Please advsie if something clicks, thanks!
