Hello Everyone.
I have never used this forum before, so im not sure if this will work out lol.
I need to rank a product for either 1 or 2 columns based on a flag.
So my columns are 2019 sales, 2018 sales, product, Year Flag
What i need it to specifically do is:
On a row by row basis look at the product and the flag associated with it and then rank it on one of the columns according to flag.
How do I accomplish this?

You can create a calculate column using dax below:
Rank = RANKX(FILTER('Table', 'Table'[Year Flag] = EARLIER('Table'[Year Flag])), 'Table'[Sales], , DESC, Dense)
