Hi BI Community,
I have 2 table: ProdRun
and Scalings:
I want to had a new column in table Scalings. When there is a new SpeciesExtCode (except the blank) in the table ProdRun, I want the new IDRun for the line with the new SpeciesID of table Scalings and the other after. I want this IDRun until the SpeciesExtCode change.
The problem its that the the date of the new SpeciesExtCode of ProdRun is always later then the new SpeciesID of Scalings.
Somebody can help me.
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous,
1. The date time have time parts. If you don't need the time granularity, please add a new column like [start].[Date].
2. What's the relationship between these two tables? It could be based on the columns above.
3. Do you need the max value of IDrun? "I want this IDRun until the SpeciesExtCode change."
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi @v-jiascu-msft,
1. The hour in de start colum can be usefull because sometimes there is many new line in ProdRun table in the same day.
2. I would like to make the relationship with the new column. So Scaling[new column] with ProdRun[IdRun].
3. It could be the max value of Idrun. The important things is that when there is a new value in ProdRun[SpeciesExtCode] (except the blank), I get the new ProdRun[IDrun] in the new colum of Scalings when there is a new value in Scalings[SpeciesID].
So the «Species ID» will change in the two tables, not at the same hour (generally in the same day), and at this time I want the new IDrun for the scaling with the new SpeciesID.
I hope I'm clear enought... Sorry english is not my first language...
Thanks a lot.
