New Google Analytics Update

Hello,

So GA has recently updated, and some of the data I am working with go moved over to this new update. Unfortunately I can't seem to get the data through the GA connector. I click the file for the data but nothing drops down. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem yet.

Thank you,

Kieran L.

    Hi Anonymous,

What version of the power bi desktop are you test? Have you worked with the report that designed in the old version of power bi? Please share more detailed information to help us clarify your scenario:

BTW, if you update the power bi desktop to date and test with the GA connector, did this issue fixed?

      Hi Xiaoxin,

I have the most recent update, 2.87.1061, and I can still access the data from the old version of Power BI. I have attached a photo so you can see the diffence.

As you can see with the cultivate (which is still on the old version of GA, I can access the data, but wih Delhaize which is on the new GA I just click on it but there is no data.

      Thank you,

      Kieran L.

        Hi Anonymous,

Sure, I also try to up to the last version power bi desktop and test with the GA connector. The detailed level contents loading successfully on my side:

Did you use the old repot file to test with two different versions of power bi or just try to create a new GA connector on different version clients?

BTW, you can also try to use Fiddler to trace the request power bi desktop proceed to confirm if any speed polyps block the requests. (new version of GA connector may use the different ports wich you device blocked)

        Regards,

  • Hi

you can try to import your GA data into windsor.ai account as a workaround. And access the GA data with Power BI.
