I previously grouped data into seven groups. This wasn't all the data from the table, many were still ungrouped and I did not group the remaining into "other." Recently, I added a new group, but when I use my groups in a Matrix for rows or columns, I only see my original seven groups. I cannot find an obvious filter limiting the visuals to groups 1-7, but I can see the new grouping in my groups screen. What's preventing group 8 from showing? Additionally, any ungrouped accounts will not display anywhere. Do I have to remove the grouping and build all eight at the same time?

@lbendlin , thank you for your help. I deleted the table and reconnected to it. It removed the groupings and I was able to establish new groupings for all accounts.
Groups will retain values that you added to them but are no longer part of the data. Are the values rendered in black or grey?
I'm not sure what values you are referring to, are you asking about the Field and Group type boxes below?
I am referring to the individual items (members) under "Groups and Members"
I've removed deleted my original Groups from the model, but when I create a new Matrix on a new page, the result still filters out any accounts that weren't in the original grouping. I don't know how to remove this filter. My original group only categorized P&L accounts, therefore my Balance Sheet accounts didn't display in my reports, but I'd like to add them back. I attempted to recreate my grouping in Power Query, but I still receive filtered results.

Below is a screenshot of my Chart of Accounts. The far right column is my Group column I created in Table view-> Data groups. I created groups 1-7, my issue started when I added group 8 Fixed Assets, but it didn't appear as a line on my Matrix (also below). I've deleted the Account Types column, but when I create a new Matrix, only accounts originally grouped populate.
New matrix after deleting groups. Notice account in 1000 and 2000 range not listed.
I have not refreshed after deleting, but considering I've added group 8 Fixed Assets and refreshed mulitple times and haven't seen it added as a row, I don't assume refreshing would change anything.
sorry, can't work with screenshots.

The problem I'm having with my file is that the original 7 groups act as a filter for my visuals, so from my table above, account 1210 will not populate on any visual because it wasn't in the oringinal grouping. This was what I wanted at first, but I'd like to add the ungrouped accounts to my visual. When I added a new group using "Edit Groups," that new grouping did not show. I added a "New Group" in PowerBI, but that did not appear on the visuals. I rebuilt the groupings in Power Query and deleted my Power BI grouping, only to find the grouping was still filtering the visuals. So I'm at a loss now. My last hope would be to remove the entire table then re-connect to it.
Can't really reproduce this just yet - groups are behaving as expected for me.

They appear the same to me.
