New Choropleth visual

This is a strange one. I am trying to use the new Choropleth visual and reference my own topoJSON files, however when I point the visual to urls which host my .json files, the requests fail and I see the invalid JSON file message. I have even hosted the json files from the sample.pbix and these are not served correctly either.

The sample files are hosted here:

https://uat.gramener.com/static/c3/US_adm2.json

What is significant about these URLs? I am hosting my files on an HTTPS server and when I browse to the files, everything is fine. I have also attempted to re-issue the requests through fiddler and it works, whats going on?

Do you refer to Filled Map visual? Thanks for sharing the JSON links, however they both lead to 404 blank pages.

Hi Eric,

It turns out that this was a CORS issue. I managed to make these accessible by making them available in an Azure storage account that had the relevant CORS configuration.

I believe I'm having a similar CORS issue, but do not have access to an Azure storage account or the ability to configure the CORS of the webserver. Am I out of luck when it comes do using this visual?
