Nested DAX Query

Hi all, I'm trying to create a new measure but I'm not having much luck, I've been away from Power BI for some time.
Can someone please assist with the following. I'm trying toturn this logic in to a DAX measure.
Kindest, Kelvin

Hi @Anonymous ,

The environment you are creating the formulas in is power query (which uses the M language) and not powerbi desktop. for the dax formulas refer to the following screenshot.

M =
IF (
    MAX ( 'Table'[Contribution to Contribution to journal] )
        IN { "Article", "Review article", "Literature review" }
            || (
                (
                    MAX ( 'Table'[Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding] ) = "Conference contribution"
                )
                    && (
                        MAX ( 'Table'[Publication series > ISSN (Print)] ) <> BLANK ()
                            || MAX ( 'Table'[Series > ISSN (Electronic)] ) <> BLANK ()
                    )
            ),
    1,
    0
)

@Anonymous , Not very clear , something like

Type =
[Contribution to journal] in {"Article", "Review article", "Literature review"}
||
( ([Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding] ="Conference contribution")
&&
(Publication series > ISSN (Print) <> blank() || Series > ISSN || (Electronic)<> Blank() )
)

If this does not help
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

Thanks for your reply. It is complaining of an error but I cannot see why. Any idea?
