Negative values in slicer

I have a slicer in PowerBI that is accepting negative input values, even though data has no negative values, in this case the minimum value is 1000.
Is there any way to prevent this behavior? As it can be seen it is accepting a value of -8859

Hi @welifjweklgilrw

I did some test, but just as @PhilipTreacy said that it works very well.

Maybe you can try to change the style of the slicer to List or Tile to see if there are negative values.

Hi @welifjweklgilrw

You stated that the minimum value is 1000, but in the subsequent post your image shows the min value in the column as 1. It obviously can't be both.

The slicer gets its data from the column so if it's allowing negative numbers, there must be negative numbers in the column.

Is your slicer using data from the TotalDurationMin column?

Please supply your data/file so we can check.

Regards

Phil

As you can see, I ordered the data is ascending order and the minimum value is 1, still the slicer accepts a negative input. Is there any way to restrain the value?

Hi @welifjweklgilrw

The slicer gets its values from a column so there must be negative values in that column.  Please supply the data so it can be checked and double check it yourself.
