Need to set a default today when the user open's the report

Hi guys, 

Could someone tel me a way or guide me to a thread where the user can set the date  range slicer to today. 

Further if they can have the "gl date to "at today and also change it to different date ranges. So when they open the report  again it  goes back to todays/ current date.  I've asked this question earlier and was redirected to different scenario's  such as the one in the picture   and couldn't actually get the correct answer.

Hi @ajin,

There is such a slicer type. But it doesn't work in your scenario. It works alone.

 I would suggest you vote up this idea.
