Hello,
A coworker has asked if I can create a similar functioning page to what's pictured below in our PowerBI dashboard. JIC for proprietary reasons I've covered the list of parts on the left side, but essentially each row is a part type and then the number of quality reports generated about that part type for each week/month. He wants to be able to see trends about the number of reports from week to week for each part type.
I think this is only worth the trouble to him if the result is equal or an improvement to his excel table. Because he uses other pages on the dashboard, he is wanting to have this function in the dashboard as well.
An example of my data table for this is:
I'm a complete noob at this and could some pointers on how to achieve this sort of visual data. I can make a table with the part type and the count, but I don't know how to get the count broken up into different date ranges (weeks).
Can you please help? I'm willing to learn and try!
Don't try to make Power BI look like Excel. If you need Excel features, use Excel.
