Need help with filting

Hello All -

I am new to Power BI. I am trying to create some cards that shows the row counts based on different filters. At the bottom of that page, I also have a table that shows all records without filting. Is there a way to make that table show only related records when I click on one of those cards?

Thank you

@Anonymous ,

Countrows(Tables) - should all records with filter on table and related tables

calculate(Countrows(Tables), all(Table) ) - should all records without  filter on table and related tables

Click on the card is not a action. You can use the bookmark button for that

Hi, @Anonymous

Card visuals can respond to interaction originated from other visuals and change values on them, but they aren't currently the origin of interaction. I think you can use a Slicer to help you filter the records in the table related with Card Visual or considering Card drill through in Power BI.

1 Create a table with all records

2 Create a Slicer

3 Create a Card visual

4 When clicking item in Slicer, value on the Card and records in the table will change together

Hi @Anonymous

This looks like a case of issue with interaction between the slicer and the table.

Click on a slicer and select "Edit Interaction" on the format pane.

Then on the top right of the table at bottom of the page there will icons as below.

Make sure the one highlighted above is selected for your results.

If you have more than one slicer select one by one and repeat the same process.
