Hi, I would like to have your suggestions on a chart that can visually help. I have 101 geographical values and in each I would like to have one single column/bar representing existing services (church, library, hospital, school). I want the bar/column only shows up different colors for each of the services existing, and no color if they dont. I have a table with four columns stating yes/no/unknown.
I have tried the ribbon chart with small multiples and the stacked column chart. The problem I face is that I do not know how to make in the Y axis to show only when "yes" so I am having a very random chart.
Many thanks for any suggestion.
Hi @ZazC
You can use stacked bar chart where each segment represents a different service. Apply conditional formatting to color the segments based on the yes value. You can set the color to be transparent or a neutral color for no or unknown.
Please share some sample data with what's your expected output in the form of sample visual. So, It will be helpful to us for easy understanding of your issue.
Thanks!
Thank you for your response. So I have an excel with yes/no in four columns and 101 rows. Then I have a chart that automatically populates the columns, but not according to yes/no. Many thanks!
@ZazC
Can you share some sample data with the desired output as sketch or example to have a clear understanding of your question?
You can either paste your data in the reply box or save it in OneDrive, Google Drive, or any other cloud-sharing platform and share the link here.

Thank you for your response. It has taken me a while to upload the picts. So I have an excel with yes/no in four columns and 101 rows. Then I have a chart that automatically populates the columns, but not according to yes/no. Many thanks!
A workable sample data (not an image) please. Link to an Excel file or a sanitized copy of your pbix stored in the cloud.
