Need help representing the variance in data more clearly (map visualizations)

Hello, I am new to Power BI and had a few question concerning the map visualizations.

I have here the population by counties for the U.S.

The current dot I have selected (above) shows a population count of almost 100,000. However, in the next image, the dot below that has a population count of 42,500.

The problem is the size of the circles are pretty much the same size. The same goes for the whole map except for places like Cook County on the left side with a population of over 5 million.

Is there a better way to represent the data or at least make the circles have more varience? I have tried by Color Saturation and it is even worse.

Another problem is when zooming out, the circles overlap each other. Can the circles be smaller by default?

Thanks for your help,

      Mike

@MikeSlaught You can instead use Filled Map visual which will not give you circles on the map but option to color code and also consider using custom visual called Globe Map which can sort of display as pins on the map.

Thanks, I did not know about the custom visualizations!
