Hi guys,
I am preparing a dashboard for a short term rental management company.
In their portfolio they have properties that at some point they get deactivated.
I need a DAX formula (I guess) to count them as active and when they are deactivated to not count them but of course I want this to be date sensitive. For example if I try to get reports for the year 2023 I want these to be based on all the properties that were active at some point during that year.
Maybe have a column at the properties table marking the date that the property was first activated and then another column showing the deactivation date. If the deactivation date is null then this means the property is still active and have the property counted for the years that the activation year is equal or smaller. if the deactivation year has a value is equal or higher. Meaning if a property was first active in 2021 and deactivated in 2024 I want it to be counted as an active property for the years 2021,2022,2023 and 2024
Thanks for your time I hope it makes sense.
