I am floored that I am unable to place a border around my filters & charts in the Desktop version of Power BI. I am able to put borders around these same controls on the website, just not in the desktop version. This seems like such an easy feature to implement. Here's to hoping the Power BI team will get to this sooner rather than later.

@v-dabatc - The January release of Desktop includes the ability to put borders around visualizations. Make sure that you have the January version and then click your visual, click the "paintbrush" icon over on the right in the Visualizations section and at the bottom you should find "Border", slide it to "On" and pick your color.

Have they removed the border option from the O365 version? Its disappered from the menu?
@v-dabatc thanks for the suggestion. In fact the website and the desktop uses the same visual technology. However, the website has a more frequent release cycle than the desktop (as one should expect).
Thus unless otherwise specified, most new features available on PowerBI.com today should be available in the next PowerBI desktop update. So, stay tuned!

PQ
