Need Help: Sankey Model using different values

Can anyone tell me if I can use different values at each level? For example, if it's a Target Gift card redemption dataset. I want to show Source as Fiscal Quarter, destination as Expired/Active Flag and the weight will be $$ of gift card values. But the second level i would like to show how much was redeemed from the original purchase of the gift card and what category was bought. Please guide me if this is possible?

Your description is abstract. Could you please provide a data model and show the expected results with pictures? I will try my best to see if this problem can be solved
