Hi,
I have a matrix in my power BI that have this:
Rows: Portfolio name and it's holdings
Values: certain values.
And the matrix will show:
[+] Portfolio
and when you click on the [+] buttom, it will show all it's holding . Which is great!
But the thing is, that its' value sum everything, and i dont want that, beacuse it is showing wrong. When it all expanded it is correct.
How can I get rid of that?
Thanks,
Hi @Anonymous ,
You need to disable row subtotals so that they don't sum upto portfolio level and show only values for holdings when you click on [+].
Below is the setting you are looking for in Format:

Hi @Anonymous ,
Click on Don't Summarize and it will not summarize your values.

Yes.. But that is grand total right at the matrix "bottom"... I have take that off, but still I got within the matrix..
Hi @Anonymous ,
Can you share a sample data, a screenshot of what is the current scenario and the expected output.

I only want the yellow colom to be summerized. Not the black ones.
@Anonymous,
For showing totals only for yellow column and not for black column in your image, you can perform the below:
Format -> Field Formatting -> Select [DIRTYVALQC] in the 1st dropdown -> Enable only 'Apply to Total' -> Set font color to that of background color
You can also refer to this community post(link) which might help you.

the thing is.. look at this picture again..
see with PORNAME ?? There is a [+] buttom that I want to have in it.. and when i press that buttom, it will all expand. And there i want to have all the sum.. NOT when have 'collapsed'
hi @Anonymous
For the fields that you don't want to be summarized in matrix, you need to put them in "Rows" instead of "Value", all the fileds in "Value" will be summarized, for dim fileds, it should in "Rows" or "Columns"

hi @Anonymous
when you expand it, it will not get summerized, it will just show once for the same value.

Lin
hmmm okej. so I guess that is not an option..
