Hello all,
I'm facing a problem when using more Azure map visuals. I need two map-visuals to display loadings and deliveries, where I have connected multiple cards with to show related data, for example the average and total time between. To achieve this, I usually selected a start and end location (bubble) in the two visuals. With the original (old) Map visual this worked perfect. The Azure map visual (which I was told will replace the orignal somewhere in the future) has a lot more settings to improve the user-experience and overall workflow. However with this visual it seems to not be able to multiselect (ctrl + click) between the two maps. Is this a known error, or maybe someone knows a certains setting or workaround. The Azure map is much more preferrable regarding these settings.
Let's hope someone can help me out!

Hi @bnjmnnl,
Thank you for reaching out with your query regarding the Azure Map visual and cross-visual multi-selection.
To the best of my understanding, while the classic Map visual supported cross-visual multi-selection (for example, Ctrl + Click across two visuals), the new Azure Map visual currently does not support Ctrl + Click selection across multiple map visuals.
Kindly consider the following workaround steps which may help resolve the issue:
1.Combine your loadings and deliveries into a single visual. Use categories or custom markers (such as colour, shape, or size) to distinguish between them. Apply filtering and tooltips to manage start and end logic. This approach allows multi-selection within one map.
2.Instead of selecting directly from the map, use slicers (dropdowns or lists) to select start and end locations. This will control both the Azure Maps and any KPIs or cards. You may apply advanced filters using DAX behind the scenes.
Additionally, we kindly request you to submit a feature request for this enhancement on the Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community, where Microsoft product teams closely monitor popular requests. If enough users support this idea, it will be prioritised in a future Power BI release.
If you find our response helpful, please mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members facing similar queries.
Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the Microsoft Fabric community.
Thank you.

Thank you! I've made request!, Will use filters because bubble-size and coloring is already used to present number of loadings/deliveries and time between those. Thanks
Hi @bnjmnnl -Unfortunately it does not currently support cross-visual multi-selection (Ctrl + Click across two map visuals) the way the classic Map visual did.Ctrl+click multiselect within the same Azure Map visual.
I recommend post in idea forum or tracking this idea : https://ideas.powerbi.com/
Hope this helps.
