Hi,
Am very new to Power BI and have a requirement to create a Dashboard using 8 different DBs and have common input parameters.
I have separate query for each chart and also each chart should have All 8 DB records (Append). Please share your approach to achieve my requirement.
Thank you!
Hi @Anonymous ,
For Power BI Desktop, table view is not support for DirectQuery mode, only support for Import mode, you could change this mode from DirectQuery to Import.
If you want to append or merge data, please try to do it in Power Query then load the data into Power BI.
Best regards,

I tried to create native query for all 8 DB connections for each chart, but the third query didn't show record and got below error. Do we have any restriction to Direct Query connection. I have to create multiple queries in similar way. Please advice.
@Anonymous I would append the data in PQ from all these sources with a new column called source and then visualize it with the ability to slice the data on the source (if required).
