Mult-Year, week, data comparison data calendar

Hi all,

Is there an easy dax function example which will allow be to create a calendar which will allow me to filter and compare year on year, week vs week and day vs day?

The date will be in a table or histogram.  I think I might need to build a seperate date calendar for this.
