Month of year order

Hello, can you please help put the months in order?

On my date table, the column monthName is sorted by the monthNo, and the monthOfYear sorted by the month name, but it's still showing wrong. Many thanks!

In your calendar table, create another column as follows for sorting monthOfYear  then sort your column by this new monthOfYearSort.

monthOfYearSort = INT ( FORMAT( [Dates[Date] , "yyyymm") )

Try sorting your month of year column with a combination of month number and year.

The column 'month of year' should not be sorted by month name, it needs to be sorted by by a combinaiton of Year & Month. See this post - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Sorting-by-Year-Month-and-Display-Month-Name/m-p/891004
