Modelling transactional DB
Hi,
I am stuck on the following situation and i'll try to ask for your help (sorry for my english, not perfect, i know 🙂 )
I have a log of events for all my customers (hundreds) similar to this
| Id Customer | Activities | old value | new value | Operation Date |
| 1 | Status | New | 25/05/2022 13:26 | |
| 1 | Operator Name | John | 25/05/2022 13:26 | |
| 1 | Operator Name | John | Carl | 26/05/2022 07:18 |
| 1 | Status | New | In Process | 26/05/2022 09:55 |
| 1 | Operator Name | Carl | Mark | 27/05/2022 09:56 |
| 1 | Status | In Process | Closed | 30/05/2022 16:24 |
And what i need is a trend that show me the number of customers have a certain status or assigned to a certain operator.
For the example above:
- Carl had 0 customer on 25 May, 1 customer on 26 of May, 0 customer on 28 May.
- John on 25May had 1 "New" Customer.
- On 29 may there was 1 customer with status "In Process"
and so on..
Pretty sure i can't handle everything in power bi and i need some Etl, but at the moment i have no idea how to set my model.
Any suggestions? (also any link on similar topics will be very appreciate)
Thank you very much
