Hi guys,
I strunggle to modelize a dimension and as I didn't find a solution in the net, could you help me to modelize this one or share something that could help?
Here is the requirement :
-Lets' call this dimension DIM and it has 5 levels
-In the data source, only LEVEL0 and LEVEL1 are not nullables so there are rows where LEVEL2 -> LEVEL5 could be blanks
-The fact table has a column dim so I could create a relation between the fact and the DIM table.
-The complexity is the column dim of the fact table has values which could correspond to differents levels of the dimension DIM and we can not create many relation between 2 tables.
-The last thing : I will have to create a hierarchie of these 5 levels in order to agregate if necessary. This feature is not mendatory but would be a very nice to have
Thank you in advanced and let me know if you need some clarifications.
Hi, @bboy0009
Based on the example data you provided, what kind of output do you expect? This can be represented as a picture or in excel.
