Hello,
I have a quite big data model and created several reports from it. Model uses both direct query and import model.
The issue is when I hit refresh button on powerBI app I guess it only refreshes existing columns for tables.
Sometimes I add/remove column in SQL but refresh doesn't seem to effect it. I have to download .pbix file and refresh table in model tab in PowerBI desktop then publish it again.
Is there any faster solution for that?
Kind regards,

Hi @Anonymous,
In fact, it is a limitation for working with the dynamic database structure.
AFAIK, Power bi will cache the previous table structure into query steps, it was not able to dynamic responses and change structure when you modify the table structure on the database side.
You need to manually modify your query steps to add new fields then publish to replace the old report.
