Has anyone ever seen PBI move some of the tables in the "All Tables" diagram to a place many screens (really many, I didn't count) below the main group of tables?
I know that I can build another diagram and correct theproblem. I've done it and they work perfectly.
However, the main digaram went totally crazy, and moving the tables back to their place manually does not work.
Any one knows if there is a way to reset this diagram?
Thank you for any advice!

Hi @gjfbarbosa2
Create a new diagram:
In Model View, click the New Diagram icon (looks like a blank page)
Name it "All Tables Reset" or similar
Add all tables to the new diagram:
Right-click in the blank diagram area
Select Add All Tables
Alternatively, drag tables manually from the fields pane
Apply Auto Layout:
Select all tables (Ctrl+A)
Right-click any table → Arrange Tables → Auto Layout
Wait for Power BI to reorganize everything
Set as default view (optional):
Right-click the new diagram → Set as Default Layout
This makes it the view that opens by default
If the above doesn't work, try this more thorough reset:
Close Power BI Desktop
Navigate to your file location and make a backup copy
Rename the .pbix file to .zip
Open the zip and navigate to \Layouts\
Delete Model.layout (this contains the corrupted layout)
Rename back to .pbix and reopen
To avoid this issue recurring:
Use multiple diagrams for logical subject areas
Save frequently during manual arrangement
Avoid excessive zooming/panning while editing
Consider using external tools like Tabular Editor for large models
The "All Tables" diagram is special - it can't be deleted but can be reset
Power BI sometimes loses layouts with:
Very large models (50+ tables)
Complex relationship patterns
Multiple monitor setups

Thank you so much! I think I'll go straight to the nuclear option. 😁
