Hello,
We currently are using Tibco JasperSoft. I currently have reports in JasperSoft. I do have access to the raw database that is in Microsoft SQL Server. How can I export the relationship's and old reports in JasperSoft and import them into PowerBi. I am looking to get rid of JasperSoft. However in the future I want to query the data for business puposes.
I have tried to connect the database and run new reports. It does work a little bit but PowerBi is not sure how some relationships work. Is there away to export the logic from JasperSoft and import them into PowerBi and reports?
Thank you
@Elliot9874 I don't think there is way to copy the relationship from jaspersoft to PowerBI but it should be easy since you already know how tables are connect, you have to bring those tables in PowerBI Data Model and set up the relationship. It is all going to be manual process.

Is there anyway to bring over those reports?
Or do they have to be rebuilt ?
@Elliot9874 AFAIK you have to re-write those reports in PowerBI. I'm don't think (heard of) direct import of jaspersoft reports.

Alright,
Thank you
So I have an organization over 50 people. So when I rebuild the relationships in my PowerBi Desktop is there a way to push those relationships to other users?
@Elliot9874 yes, you can publish your model in powerbi service and then let other users connect to this published data model, it will get them one model to work with where you already have all the relationship up and running.

I currently have PowerBi Desktop is there a different product that I need?
You need to use powerbi service to publish your report and then your users can use powerbi desktop to connect to data model published in the service.
