Migration from JasperSoft

Hello,

We currently are using Tibco JasperSoft. I currently have reports in JasperSoft. I do have access to the raw database that is in Microsoft SQL Server. How can I export the relationship's and old reports in JasperSoft and import them into PowerBi. I am looking to get rid of JasperSoft. However in the future I want to query the data for business puposes.

I have tried to connect the database and run new reports. It does work a little bit but PowerBi is not sure how some relationships work.  Is there away to export the logic from JasperSoft and import them into PowerBi and reports?

Thank you

  • Anonymous I don't think there is way to copy the relationship from jaspersoft to PowerBI but it should be easy since you already know how tables are connect, you have to bring those tables in PowerBI Data Model and set up the relationship. It is all going to be manual process.

      Thank you.

Is there anyway to bring over those reports?

Or do they have to be rebuilt ?

Anonymous AFAIK you have to re-write those reports in PowerBI. I'm don't think (heard of) direct import of jaspersoft reports.
