Microsoft Gantt Chart Filtering Issue

Hi PacBI - Microsoft Gantt Chart 3.0.12.0 does not automatically propagate selection filters from a parent task to all associated sub-tasks when selecting the parent level in a collapsed hierarchy. By default, the filtering logic might only recognize the first sub-task or no sub-tasks at all unless explicitly set up.

Microsoft Gantt Chart may have limitations with hierarchy filtering. Consider switching to an alternate Gantt Chart custom visual, such as:

Gantt by MAQ Software
Gantt Chart by xViz
These visuals often have better handling of hierarchical selection and filtering. Ensure you configure fields to match the hierarchy (Parent → Sub-task).
