I am planning to write 70-778 Power BI exam by Feb 2018 and want some useful study material(link+book references) and sample questions which could be effective to pass the exam.

Hi Livio/Team,

Please let me know if the official book is sufficient enough to pass the certification or not.I would also like to know whether the exam has questions on Power BI customization scenarios and knowledge of API's.

In case of exam failure is there a retake policy.

Hi @Mystery,

the retake policy is described on the Microsoft Learning website in the exam FAQs. 

I wouldn't rely just on the book for the exam, I would suggest you to have at least have a sound knowledge of Power Query and DAX and Power BI service, you can refer to the books I posted earlier. Then I would also spend some time working on a project or helping out other people in forums like this
