I guess I don't fully understand how merge works. I need to merge two Tables together, without increasing my total number of rows... I want to merge these two tables together as seen below, By ID, Customer #, Year.
| ID | Customer # | Ticket Type | Year |
| 1212 | 1 | L | 2018 |
| 1212 | 2 | S | 2018 |
| 1212 | 1 | L | 2018 |
| 1314 | 15 | L | 2018 |
| 6785 | 88 | L | 2018 |
| 1212 | 1 | L | 2016 |
| 1212 | 2 | L | 2016 |
| 1314 | 15 | S | 2016 |
| ID | Customer # | Person Type | Year |
| 1212 | 1 | M | 2018 |
| 1212 | 2 | F | 2018 |
| 1212 | 1 | M | 2018 |
| 1314 | 15 | M | 2018 |
| 6785 | 88 | F | 2018 |
| 1212 | 1 | M | 2016 |
| 1212 | 2 | F | 2016 |
| 1314 | 15 | M | 2016 |
I would like it to look like this...
| ID | Customer # | Year | Ticket Type | Person Type |
| 1212 | 1 | 2018 | L | M |
| 1212 | 2 | 2018 | S | F |
| 1212 | 1 | 2018 | L | M |
| 1314 | 15 | 2018 | L | M |
| 6785 | 88 | 2018 | L | F |
| 1212 | 1 | 2016 | L | M |
| 1212 | 2 | 2016 | L | F |
| 1314 | 15 | 2016 | S | M |
Anyone have any idea what join type I need to use?
Thanks

@chq I assume ID, customer, year make a unique records? You can use lookupvalue function to get the valeu from other table
