Merged Queries - ERROR

I have two separate queried tables. Theere are two fields that are common in which i have merged those columns together in each table. To create an ID in order to merge the queries.  I have gone ahead an merged my queries as a new table with a left outer join. Everything seems be working as designed until i refresh the data. Then i am getting this error and i can't figure out where the issue is. "Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: OLE DB or ODBC error: [Data Format Error] We couldn't convert to a Number..'.

Help!

@Anonymous in PQ, select all column and then from menu select keep errors, it will give you the rows with the error and will help you to determine which column is causing it.

@Anonymous PQ determines the data type of the columns based on the first 200 rows and seems like one of your columns has a data type that is incompatible with the value in the column. You have to check which column is that (manually) and fix the data type of the column.

For example, a column with the first 200 rows has a number value and the type of the column is set to decimal and then there is a text value in this column, in this case, you will get an error.

I hope it helps.

thanks for commenting!  Any quick and easy way of determining that?  I believe its a number format column that must have text in it.
