Hi
If I have several separate data models - ie. different PBIX files - and I want to unify them in a single model, is there a way of doing that?
E.g. is there a way of seeing a data model defined in text that can be copied and pasted between PBIX files?

This is currently not possible, sorry. You should consider building a single golden data set containing everything you need, publish to a workspace, and build workbooks from there.
@Anonymous , There nothing as on now for power bi desktop yet. But if the model is the same, you can copy-paste visuals from one file to another.

Thanks Matt
Does this mean it's not possible to take a "divide and conquer" approach to building a golden data set?
We're building Sales reports, with elements of team activity, pipeline generation and bonus calculations. Each could be developed largely in parallel, ie. more quickly.
Just want to confirm that Power BI provides no way to collaborate when modelling data.
Thanks!
