Merge Two Tables

Hi Community..!!

I want to merge two columns in such away that table2 data should come below to the table1 data

Table1

In New merged column ,I should get only 2 columns as a result.

@Anonymous , For achieving this in power query you have to first rename column name of your table 2 and make it same as table 1 then follow what @David-Ganor has suggested. You will get 2 column only.

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

You can create a new table like below:-

Table 3 = Union(table1,table2)

Hi @David-Ganor 

If I use append then its creating four columns , that I dont want.

Result should comes in 2 coulmns only.

U can read my first question carefully for better understanding.

@Anonymous you can change the column names to be the same,

for example:

Team name, Team initial.

 

If you'd like to distinguish between those tables afterwards (home vs away), please create an additional column for each - something like "source table" where the value should be constant "home" for table 1 , and "away" for table 2
