Median and Mean calculation

I am trying to calculate the median and the mean of my dataset, the issue i believe i am having is the calculations are based on the following 

IF(OR(Data[Count] =0,Data[Count] = BLANK()),0,1)

Which gives me just 1 for everything across the board. I am trying to plot the median and mean on a line graph so the median and mean would change by date and by the category in the legend. Have tried a variety of calculations but none seem to be working.
