Hi everyone,
Im getting a bit desperate and need help.
I have the following problem
1This is my Original model:
The hidden table is in direct query mode and it's being referenced by Tweetscrap table in import mode.
Everything works fine. Calendar Table (calculated in Power Query M) filters TweetScrap using datetime column (one minute per row)
2) New Model: What I did is elminating TweetScrap table and using the same data (The hidden table) in Direct Query mode.
Now Calendar Table connects but it doesn't filter well. Measures are having bizarre behaviour.
Example: counts of IDs are showing less values than there should be in dates axis
Cards show the correct value when no filter is applied but if you move the datetimes slicers, they show way less than correct.
It seems as if the relationships didn't work well but no error is retrieved. I tried using Calendar table in Direct Query Mode importing it from AZURE SQL but performance is terrible and breaks model, then I imported the table from AZURE SQL (import mode) and had the same problem that I had with M calculated Calendar Table, measures are not working.
Any answer on why could my table relationships be broken?
HELP PLEASEEE and Thank you in advance!! Sorry for the broken english.
Check these.
Your calendar has unique dates
Your calendar joined a date column not to date-time. This means date should not have a timestamp.
I got the table from sql server in my case. Refer https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Decoding-Direct-Query-in-Power-BI-Part-1-Time-Intell...
Sorry but that is not the case. My Calendar table is using a datetime column as well as my Data Table. Calendar table has unique values while Data Table doesn't, but both are of type Date/Time.
