Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to how a variable in a measure is handled when loading/refreshing.
Does it only calculate the variable once as you load the report/datamodel - and in terms reduce the general load/optimize the measure?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anonymous
As the measure is dynamic and it will be executed when it is being used in any visuals on a page. If you refresh a page then measures within the page will execute. Generally, variables will help to break down the complex logic into small pieces and also help you to improve the performance when you need to perform repeatative business logics.
