Measure to set a matrix visual date range

Hello, 

 I would like to write a measure to filter a matrix visual:

If selected value in Region table is A

Then the date range is last 4 months, else the last 12 months 

I have a filter on the table viusal like in the screenshot below, but I would like to have it in a measure . 

Can anyone please help me
