Hi all,
I'm trying to do something that I would think would be extremely straightforward, but I'm not having any luck. I want to filter down a column, "Ref #", by the values in some other columns and just return the remaining list of items in Ref # using this measure:
Act_Comp_but_not_Closed = CALCULATE(VALUES(Log_Table[Ref #]), NOT(ISBLANK(Log_Table[Act Comp])), Log_Table[Status] <> "Closed")
The measure doesn't give any errors, but it won't let me drop the measure into the rows or values of a matrix visual. (This would be the only component of the table.)
Hi @jdriscoll
Check this post it looks similar to what you are trying to achieve

Did it work ? 👌 Mark it as a solution to help spreading knowledge 👉 A kudos would be appreciated
Hi,
I read through that post and it doesn't seem like it's the same. I essentially want to build a slicer into one of my columns. I know I could achieve this through putting filters on the visuals also, but I thought it would be just as easy to create a measure that would achieve the same thing.
