Measure Goups vs Calculated columns

Hi there,

based on real life experience if need to add to my tabular SSAS model some measures based on Last Year , Last Month, etc.comparison do you suggest - for maintenance and readbility - to use either the calculated groups (my comparability level is 1500) or the Measure groups -meaning creating a new table with only measures inside ?
