    I think the UI change was somewhere in June.

    As a side note to Ibendlin, the version I tested was 2014 june and it resulted in the following:

Perfect! But how did you accomplish that? Did you changed the input format? And how did you configured that on the PowerBI Matrix?

didn't change the input. Matrix is configured as "Tabular" format without totals.
