Hi,
is it possible in matrix to fix the height and width of every cell to have all of them equal?
@Giada_Togliatti , I did a quick check, no option. But you can darg like excel and change the width of the column. Height will depend on font size
@amitchandak , I've already tried to do it manually but every time I open the pbix I see the default width, I should have something fix and equal to all the cells
Hi @Giada_Togliatti ,
What you can do is. Set the column header width manually in your matrix visual.
Then under Format options --> Column Headers --> Turn off "Auto-size column width" option
This will retain your manual column width whenever you open you pbix file.
Thanks,
Pragati
@Pragati11 I have switched "auto-size column width" to off., but if I change the slicer the width changes
Hi @Giada_Togliatti ,
What version of Power Bi are you using? Is it the latest one?
Because I don't see this happening at my end. On slicer selections, width of matrix retains.
My original Matrix with custom column widths.
Now when in select anything in the right slicer, it retains the column width.
Can you add some screenshots here to understand what's happening at your end?
Thanks,
Pragati
@Pragati11 , I use may 2020, I can't share screenshot because of sensitive data, but inside my matrix there are some string of different lenght
Hi @Giada_Togliatti ,
Please try the solution in the following thread and check if it can resolve your problem.
