Matrix data export to Excel

Hi,

Is there a way to export a matrix table visual into excel?

I know you can click on the 3 dots and Export Data, but it gives all the raw data columns, not a matrix. 

I also know I could then do a pivot table to get what I want.  The issue is the people I am creating reports for won't know how to create a pivot table, so I was hoping they could simply download the matrix.

Is this possible please?

Hi @abloor ,

I haven't found a way to export the matrix itself into excel.

However, as a workaround, you could create a new table using DAX which would look like your Matrix. Then, display that table a in visual.
