Matrix columns based on Value selection in the slicer

Hi experts,

Need your help here.

In my report page i have a matrix visual and a slicer. The requirement is to show different set of columns based on slicer value selection. As shown in below image, If the Area = Sales then in the matrix, Fields/columns A,B,C,D should show.

If the Area = IT selected then matrix should show column F,G,M, N

Hi @Shadaiv ,

In some cases, we can convert these columns into measures. It will display columns through slicers dynamically.

Please refer to this blog:

Best Regards,

Hi @Shadaiv

You need to have one column for Area and another column for Column Names, then add Column Names to the Columns in Matrix and use Area in Slicer.

Thanks @VahidDM  for your reply.

In my case, we are using multiple facts and dimensions. In short, it is a big complex model.
In this situation, can you please advise how to model or create a table which will have Area, Column Names and Column Values so that i can follow the method suggested by you.
Also please note here each column represents the categorical data.

Thanks for your help.
