Matrix Visual - Column Header information/explanation

Hey stribor45
Although not ideal, you could experiment with creating a column legend of sorts by using Buttons.
For the example below,
1. I created 3 buttons
2. Added some text to each
3. Turned on the Icon option and selected Icon Type 'Help' to display the question mark
4. Turned on the Action option and selected 'Type' as 'Bookmark' but left the 'Bookmark' option below Bookmark Type as 'None', This allowed the Tooltip option to be available
5. And finally, turned on the Tooltip option within the 'Action' section and typed in some text.
Have a good one!

This actually looks like a great option however I have other visuals and not enough real estate for this workaround but it does provide value for sure. Thank you!!

Hey stribor45
For sure, I'm in that same boat too. If you're still interested in pursuing options, maybe something like the example below could be more helpful. Looks like I can't attach an example pbix file in this message but If this seems promising, I've included a Dropbox link below to an example pbix file.
This seems to be the recommendation for forum users that are not Super Users. And if you don't have a Dropbox account, looks like you don't have to create one as you can still download the file by just clicking on the "Or continue with download only" link, image below.
An important consideration is to have "Maintain layer order" turned on for both the icon and the table as is the case in the linked example.pbix file. This ensures the icon doesn't go away when clicking on the table.
Have a good one!
